Vission and Objectives

Overview
IQAC is a major educational wing of the institute that ensures quality enhancement. The IQAC assures all the stakeholders-students,faculty,administrative staff, quality circle members.

The IQAC is responsible for ensuring that the institute quality assurance policies, effective in maintaining and monitoring the standards of academic awards.

IQAC was established at JPNCE MBNR in 2017. The Principal of JPNCE Dr.Linganagouda Kulkarni was the chairperson of IQAC and K.Radhika from the Computer Science Engineering Department was the IQAC Coordinator.

At present Principal of JPNCE Dr.Sujeevan Kumar Agir is the chairperson of IQAC and P.Ravinder kumar from Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering is the present IQAC Coordinator.

Vision:
Promotion and Sustaining Quality culture aimed at achieving Academic, Administrative and Research through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support.

Mission:
● Promote the best academic, administrative and research initiatives to assure the quality in teaching, learning and evaluation.
● Development of quality culture in the institution.
● To ensure a learner-centric environment equipped with the latest techniques and technologies of teaching, research and sharing knowledge.

Objectives:
● To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
● To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.




Strategies


IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for,
● Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks
● The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes.
● Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning.
● The credibility of evaluation procedures
● Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services.
● Research sharing and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.

IQAC Functions

Some of the functions expected of the IQAC are:
● Maintaining the complete documentation and records as per the UGC, NAAC requirements.
● Development and application of quality benchmarks.
● Parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
● Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
● Development and maintenance of institutional databases through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.
● Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
● Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders. ● Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
● Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
● Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up.
● Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to the improvement of quality.
