The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) at JPNCE is dedicated to equipping students with a comprehensive grasp of the fundamental theories and practical applications of AI&ML. Our mission extends to nurturing students into future leaders in both industry and academia, both nationally and globally. Additionally, we are committed to addressing the critical needs of our nation in the rapidly evolving fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Vision

Our vision is to continue offering a rigorous 4-year full-time Professional Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, a cornerstone of our academic offerings since 2022. Tailored for aspiring Young Professionals, this program is designed to cultivate unparalleled expertise in AI&ML, culminating in professional certification conferred by our esteemed institution.


Educational Objectives

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) has cultivated a robust ecosystem dedicated to pedagogy and research in AI&ML, offering a comprehensive B.Tech program in the field. Our distinguished faculty members specialize in various facets of AI&ML, facilitating a multifaceted learning experience. This program not only primes students for a plethora of career prospects in innovative problem-solving leveraging AI&ML but also amplifies the scope of research in these domains. Additionally, students have the opportunity to delve into specialized areas such as Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, alongside interdisciplinary fields including Neuroscience, Edge Computing, and the Internet of Things.


Department Overview

In recognition of the integral role that Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) play in modern technology, the Department of AI&ML at JPNCE offers a comprehensive B.Tech program tailored to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and develop AI&ML solutions. With a steadfast commitment to innovation and interdisciplinary research, our department is at the forefront of pioneering efforts in AI&ML. Our department provides a conducive learning environment, boasting dedicated seating areas, classrooms, and conference rooms for students. Moreover, our well-equipped labs feature state-of-the-art computational facilities, including numerous GPU servers and deep learning computers, capable of accommodating up to 240 students. These facilities are utilized by both faculty and students to conduct cutting-edge research in AI&ML, both independently and in collaboration with government and industry partners.

As the Department of AI&ML @ JPNCE continues to expand, we have recently enhanced our infrastructure with the procurement of new state-of-the-art technology, including an AI&ML center equipped with various GPU-based servers for advanced research endeavors. Furthermore, we have forged strategic partnerships to establish an Artificial Intelligence Technology Centre, further solidifying our commitment to excellence in AI&ML education and research.
