Admission Process

Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering (JPNCE) follows a transparent and merit-based admission process aligned with the guidelines of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and Osmania University.

1. Admissions through Convener Quota (Category A – 70%)

  • Admissions are conducted through TS EAMCET (for B.Tech), TS ECET (for Lateral Entry), ICET (for MBA/MCA), and PGECET (for M.Tech).
  • Candidates must qualify the respective entrance exam and fulfill eligibility criteria specified by TSCHE.
  • Seats are allocated based on merit, reservation rules, and local/non-local status as per government regulations.

2. Admissions through Management Quota (Category B – 30%)

  • Admissions under the Management Quota are based on:
    • Merit in JEE Mains / TS EAMCET / IPE (for B.Tech)
    • Minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 for B.Tech admission
    • Valid academic background for PG programs (MBA/MCA/M.Tech)
  • Applications are invited directly by the institution and seats are allotted as per norms.

3. Documents Required at the Time of Admission

  • TS EAMCET / ICET / PGECET / ECET Rank Card & Hall Ticket
  • 10th and 12th Marks Memos
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) and Bonafide Certificates
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhar Card and Passport Size Photographs
