Finance Committee

Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering (JPNCE)

Role and Responsibilities:

The Finance Committee of JPNCE is entrusted with the responsibility of planning, monitoring, and managing the financial resources of the institution. It ensures effective allocation and utilization of funds to support academic, research, infrastructure, and development needs.

Key Functions:
  • Prepare annual budgets and financial statements for approval by the Board of Governors.
  • Recommend financial policies and procedures for efficient management.
  • Oversee fund allocation for academic programs, infrastructure, laboratories, and faculty development.
  • Monitor internal audits and ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations.
  • Advise on mobilization of resources through grants, collaborations, and other funding opportunities.
Composition:

The committee comprises the Principal, financial officer, and nominated members from the governing body and faculty with expertise in finance and budgeting.
